I’m 19 years old from Boston, my passion is photography, and I love meeting others the same age as me with diabetes!
What is the weirdest question you’ve been asked about your diabetes, and how did you respond?
“Do you have the bad kind?”
A: nope. Just the kind that makes you take needles several times a day, doctors visits every month, and constantly thinking about what you’re eating it’s no big deal
Tell us a story about how diabetes has affected you.
Diabetes has been a very difficult road for me in life. It’s been a huge factor to depression, anxiety, many fights with families, several hospital
visits, and overall stress. I’ve tried very hard every day to continue pushing and being strong. One day I hope to inspire others to be the strongest they can possibly be when faced with tough situations.
How has diabetes contributed to forming you into the person you are today? Mentally, physically, or emotionally?
Diabetes has made me mature very quickly at a young age!
Would you rather fight one horse sized duck or 100 regular sized ducks?
NEITHER!!!!! I don’t want to fight any ducks ;(
