After a week of my vision giving me slight problems, I woke up a Saturday morning and everything was blurry. I called a local optometrist. She checked me, said I had 20/20 vision and I needed to go to the ER immediately. Here I am, 7 years later, finally getting my health under control. Yes, it’s a struggle but I have an AMAZING support system and I’m blessed beyond belief!
How has diabetes contributed to forming you into the person you are today? Mentally, physically, or emotionally?
I lived a very rough life style prior to my diagnosis. Realizing it was a literal do or die situation, I straightened up. My life was turned upside down and around in an instance, and it was all for the better. Oddly enough, diabetes saved my life.
Would you rather fight one horse sized duck or 100 regular sized ducks?
I’d ride the horse sized duck, while fighting the 100 regular sized ducks 😏
