How do you inspire others?
Having diabetes has a lot of cons to it but I feel have also gained a lot from living with this disease. It has taught me discipline, self control and simply a better appreciation for life. Getting through those tough days are so worth being able to live the good ones and that’s what keeps me moving forward when things are tough. I will admit I get overwhelmed at times trying to manage my diabetes and sometimes even afford supplies but I am so grateful to be as healthy as I am. I’m proud to say this month my a1c was a 6.2.
Tell us a story about how diabetes has affected you.
My favorite thing about having diabetes when I was younger was going to diabetes camp. I went to several every year and had the time of my life and made some really great friends.
Would you rather fight one horse sized duck or 100 regular sized ducks?
I would definitely choose to fight one horse sized duck rather than 100 regular sized ducks and when I win the battle we will ride off into the sunset.
