I don’t let my diabetes run my life. I’m still the talkative, book worm, high school girl I was before. I still do the things I did before like burry my face in a book, & making memories with my friends. At first I was hesitant with spending the night at friend’s house or even leaving the house alone. I was afraid something would happen & no one would be there to help me out. After meeting a few other diabetics I became less hesitant & more certain. Now, I get out more, & still reading just as much.

How do you inspire others?
How I inspire others is I always keep a positive eye on everything. From taking my blood sugar, to having a snack. I also keep up with my hobbies. Mainly reading books, listening to music, or going out with friends(if that counts as a hobby).

How has diabetes contributed to forming you into the person you are today? Mentally, physically, or emotionally?
Since I’ve had diabetes I’ve been eating more healthy than I did before. I’ve noticed I’m looking the way I’ve always wanted to.

Would you rather fight one horse sized duck or 100 regular sized ducks?
Probably a horse size duck.
