This May will be my 11th year with T1D. I’m grateful for everything the people surrounding me have done for me since the beginning. In the rough times, I always cheer myself with the fact that I’m not alone in this, and that there is always hope.
How do you inspire others?
My family and friends always say that I am a warrior and that I never let myself being dragged down by the fact that I am “sick”. I live a totally normal and happy life despite that I have T1D.
Tell us a story about how diabetes has affected you.
I definitely think that diabetes made me become an adult way sooner than pretty much every kid my age at the time. It made me realize things and changed the way I treat people and even myself.
Would you rather fight one horse sized duck or 100 regular sized ducks?
100 regular sized ducks! 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆
