I am 20 years old and have been living with Diabetes since age 6. I was on shots 6 times a day until middle school year and now I am on the pump. Diabetes may not be the best thing but I enjoy it especially when I used to go to camp. I do everything, like sports, and have no problems.
What is the weirdest question you’ve been asked about your diabetes, and how did you respond?
I have the insulin pump and I had a teacher in middle school why I had a cell phone on my hip and that I needed to put it away. I told her that it was not a phone could she not see the wire and told her it was a pump.
How has diabetes contributed to forming you into the person you are today? Mentally, physically, or emotionally?
Diabetes has helped me be able to keep my health good overall. I feel like I have more control over my body then if I was not a diabetic.
Would you rather fight one horse sized duck or 100 regular sized ducks?
100 regular sized ducks
