I spent a lot of years not taking very good care of my diabetes. Constant high sugar levels and twice EMS had to be called in the middle of the night because of VERY low blood sugar. In the past year I have started eating right, started using the omnipod pump, and started using Dexcom. I have lost 100 pounds and have never felt better.
What is the weirdest question you’ve been asked about your diabetes, and how did you respond?
One day my blood sugar was low and somebody asked me if I needed more insulin.
Has anyone told you that you couldn’t do something due to your diabetes, and you proved them wrong?
Not diabetes or anything else has ever stopped me from doing something that I wanted to do
Would you rather fight one horse sized duck or 100 regular sized ducks?
One horse size duck
