How has diabetes contributed to forming you into the person you are today? Mentally, physically, or emotionally?
Before I was diagnosed I was always hungry. Before being diagnosed I was having to force myself to eat because food would make me nauseous. When my mother decided to check my blood sugar it was around 600 (she had smelt ketones on my breath). After being diagnosed I am full of energy, no longer sleeping all day long, and I’ve even started going on daily walks. I guess being diagnosed was a blessing in disguise because I am much happier than I was before and I finally have the energy to do things I couldn’t before when my blood sugar was out of check. I guess being diagnosed helped rejuvenate me and has even brought me quite a few new friends in the process.

Would you rather fight one horse sized duck or 100 regular sized ducks?
I would rather fight one horse sized duck because 100 could gang up on you.
