I would have to say, lower my levels to a pre-diabetic level as I have taken my AC1 levels from 11.2% to an astonishing 6.5% pre-diabetic level in little over two years with fitness, a low carb diet and positive mind-set of ‘I can do it’!
How do you inspire others?
I educate myself with a number of successful books on the topic self-growth, the art of allowing, and mind-set shift. I share as much as I can with others on health and raising their awareness for more in life. I plan on starting a YouTube channel sharing the knowledge I’ve obtained in the weeks ahead.
How has diabetes contributed to forming you into the person you are today? Mentally, physically, or emotionally?
Diabetes has been my greatness advocate to becoming the better version of me. It has assisted me in jump starting a number of fruitful projects and chasing after my dreams. One example is, two days after the nature of the news was given, I by choice found myself conducting an on location photo-shoot for a previously contracted client. That decision was the first of many to never label a setback as “failure;” instead I embrace each tragedy as a setup to promote self-growth, in addition prove that my capacities are without measure.
Would you rather fight one horse sized duck or 100 regular sized ducks?
