What is the weirdest question you’ve been asked about your diabetes, and how did you respond?
I guess there isn’t really a question that is the weirdest. I have been asked if I have the bad kind of diabetes, which is ridiculous because that would mean there is a good kind.

Has anyone told you that you couldn’t do something due to your diabetes, and you proved them wrong?
I’ve been told that I can’t have children and I am not pregnant or anything but I will prove them wrong.

How do you inspire others?
I am trying to inspire myself and the world to  make this disease something that is not taboo anymore. I embrace this life and I will test and give myself insulin in public because I need it to live, I won’t hide it for others comfort. I am trying to change the face Just like you are but I’m doing it on a more personal level for myself. to feel good about myself about my body and bruised fingers.

Tell us a story about how diabetes has affected you.
When I was with my ex boyfriend, he told me that this would never work out because I have diabetes and  that meant to him that I was damaged that my life wouldn’t be complete like I was less of a person.

How has diabetes contributed to forming you into the person you are today? Mentally, physically, or emotionally?
They say that having diabetes changes who you are. I used to be very carefree and spontaneous. When you’re a diabetic you have to worry about a lot things.  It’s always in the back of your mind. It has changed my life drastically.

Would you rather fight one horse sized duck or 100 regular sized ducks?
