I’ve been T1 for almost 52 years. I’ve lived it all and done it all in the D world. I’m also a parent of an amazing Type 1 woman.

Now I run a non-profit organization dedicated to optimal health and options that are both effective and outside of the status quo box while doing no harm. My organization is dedicated to better outcomes, better quality of life, and optimal health for all people with Diabetes.

Has anyone told you that you couldn’t do something due to your diabetes, and you proved them wrong?
Yes. I grew up an athlete when people with Diabetes were told they would never be able to exercise (1967) and I became a mom at a time when women were told they wouldn’t be able to have children. I was also told I would ahve to be on multiple drugs for all kinds of reasons and am still after 52 years on insulin only.

How do you inspire others?
I found the keys to Diabetes Optimal Health and I share them with everyone.
