Most of my life I’ve had diabetes. I actually don’t remember what my life looked like without being diabetic. I was just nearly a 4 year old kid when I got diagnosed. I had to accept the fact that diabetes will be my a part of life for a long time. I fought, survived and stood still in the face of every obstacle that got ahead of me because of diabetes. I actually played basketball for years before quitting it to turn to bodybuilding. I’ve done more than a “normal kid” can do in his childhood. Football, handball, swimming, horse riding, painting, volleyball, music and keeping animals at some point was part of my life. After 16 years of this journey, I’m now a 21 year old college kid studying Pharmacy and trying to make an impact in this world. To everyone who doubts him/herself about being diabetic believe me it’s not the end, it’s just the beginning.
